History

In my years of working with shelter dogs, I have met many who exhibited behaviors—from cowering to overbearing—that limited their chances of adoption. Helping them learn how to thrive and transition into loving homes has been the most rewarding work I have ever done, and it inspired me to start Pup Potential LLC. Now, I also enjoy teaching dogs in their long-term homes how to participate in family life with ease. Dogs can only reach their potential if they are able to understand and interact confidently with their environment.

Why choose us?

You need a dog training plan that fits into your day-to-day life. We design training plans that work for you.

We will meet you in the environment your dog not only learns best in, but needs the training in. We will go where your dog needs help.

Anyone can market themselves as a dog trainer. The industry has no licensing requirements or regulatory oversight. This makes it vital that dog owners confirm trainers are certified under a respected organization that utilizes up-to-date scientific research and requires ongoing education.

We get to the root of the problem to not only change your dog’s reactions, but the way they feel. We never use methods that would only suppress behaviors. We make sure dog’s are confident and happy with training. With confident and happy dogs comes training results that last.

We always prioritize your dog’s overall health. We are always happy to communicate with your veterinarian about our training plans.

We are dedicated to continuing education. We know the value of staying up-to-date on the latest research. Marie is always participating in continuing education programs.
